Terminated contracts can be deleted from the system. Billwerk will ensure that the conditions are met before closing. If some conditions are not met at the time of the request, billwerk stores the request, and will attempt deleting the contract until possible. To ensure compliance with accounting principles, billwerk will archive the data relevant to accounting.

Note: For GDPR personal data deletion request, DELETE /customers/{id} is also available and will ensure all contracts are deleted.
